Churros recipe

Ingredients

1 cup flour
1 cup water
3 tbsp sugar
1/2 tbsp salt
1 tbsp vegetable oil
3 tbsp butter
2 egg
1 tbsp essence vanilla

Coating: Sugar with cinnamon powder or dip with chocolate sauce.

Directions:

In a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the water, sugar, salt and vegetable oil. Bring the mixture to a boil Stir in the flour, mixing until it forms a ball, then remove it from the heat. Add the dough into the bowl and add one egg a time and mixing well after each addition to make sure the egg is well combined.

Transfer the dough to a cloth pastry bag or heavy-duty plastic bag fitted with a large star tip. Pipe the dough over the pot of oil to a length of about 4 inches, then using scissors to cut it so it releases into the oil.

Frying them until they're golden brown and cooked through. Transfer the churros to the paper towel-lined plate to drain for 2 minutes, then roll them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture (combine 1/2 cup sugar with the cinnamon in a shallow bowl).

I use to refer to this video to as reference... :)
